Insanity Day 7

Insanity Workout: Cardio Recovery and Cardio Abs

I woke up feeling a little bit more sick today.    As much as I wanted to take another day to rest, I know I needed to get my workout in.  I did a little research on working out when you’re sick and if you have a head cold (which I do have) it’s okay to do so but take it easy.  Today was Cardio Recovery and Cardio Abs today so I’m glad it was an easier workout.  I did what I could and actually did pretty well and I for some reason felt a little better.

Insanity Day 6

Insanity Workout: Off Day

Yup, today has turned into an off day.  I woke up feeling more sick today and I didn’t want to get any worse.  I really thought it was something small and would pass the next day because it’s happened before.  I am switching up today and since tomorrow was supposed to be an off day, I’ll be doing Cardio Recovery and Cardio Abs.  I might even throw in Fast and Furious depending on how I feel tomorrow.  But for now, I’m going to continue to rest tonight and look forward to doing my workouts tomorrow.

Insanity Day 5

Insanity Workout: Plyometric Cardio Circuit

Happy Friday!  The weather here in Chicago could be a little better but I’ll make the best day out of it.  I finished another round of the Plyometric Cardio Circuit workout and it feels as if my body is still working out.  I pushed a little harder today even though I feel like I’m getting sick.  I woke up with a scratchy throat and a runny nose.  However, I didn’t feel sick when I was working out.  As I’m writing this entry, I’m enjoying my daily dose of Chocolate Shakeology.  I blended a scoop with water, Almond Milk, ice, strawberries, blueberries, and I thought I would make it a more interesting with some kale.  The shake still tastes great!  I also love that I’m chewing the bits of kale in it.  I’m sure with all of the fruits, vegetables, and Shakeology I’ll be feeling 100 percent tomorrow.

It seems as if I have a theme for each day.  I have lots of motivational posters that go hand in hand with my journey so far since I started working out and eating healthy.  It’s all about no excuses today.  If you really want something, you’ll do no matter what it takes to get it.
