Les Mills Workout: Pump and Burn
Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I started off the week with working a double today. It was beautiful during the day and work went by fast. I wish I could say the same thing for work tonight. The weather went from being sunny and warm to cold and rainy. Rained delayed work for at least 3 hours since I work outside. As usual, I do a ton of walking including going up and down steps. It seemed like my whole work day was one long workout. I didn’t get home until a little after midnight.
I was super exhausted when I got home and I still needed to get my workout in before I go to bed. Even though my body is telling me to just go to bed and do the workout first thing in the morning, my mind was saying just do it. I worked out to Pump and Burn. It’s been a few days since I worked out with the weights so my legs were shaking after doing the squat track. Again, those bottom halves are killers and that’s where I feel the Rep Effect. While I was laying down during the chest track, I felt like I was about to fall asleep. I don’t think it’s even possible for someone to doze off while working out with weights and I think I might have done just that. Well I didn’t totally doze off. I shut my eyes for a bit and tried my hardest to stay awake. As the workout progressed, I kept getting so tired. I did not let up one bit though. I kept working hard through the entire workout. That’s some commitment right there…right?
I’m very ready to fall asleep right now. I’m so relieved that I can sleep in a little tomorrow.
KIA KAHA…BE STRONG!
