Insanity Day 19 – Round 2

Insanity Workout: Cardio Power and Resistance

I definitely did not want to get up this morning lol.  I went to the midnight showing of The Avengers downtown (Chicago) and didn’t get home until 4:00am.  It was worth it though.  The Avengers is the best superhero movie in my opinion and I absolutely loved it.  I’ll most probably see it again in the theaters very soon.  Anyways, I’m glad I have Shakeology so I can make a shake real quick and head out of the house.  If I didn’t have it, I would normally skip breakfast or eat something unhealthy as I had in the past.

Of course I didn’t have time to workout before I went to work.  I spent the rest of my day and night downtown so I had a late workout as soon as I got home.  I worked out to Cardio Power and Resistance.  It wasn’t as humid as it has been over the past couple of days but I still managed to work up a great sweat.  I’m feeling a little sore along the sides of my abdomen.  It didn’t affect my workout which was good.

In other news, I have finally booked my flight to Las Vegas at the end of next month!  I will be going to the annual Team Beachbody Coach Summit.  I’m still waiting on my ticket to the event itself and either way, I’m very excited to be going.  I haven’t had a real vacation in 5 years and I haven’t really ad the chance to experience Vegas either.  The last time I went on a vacation and let alone on a plane was to Cancun in the Summer of ’07.  I was probably one of the only people wearing a t-shirt and shorts over my swimsuit at the pool or beach.  I’m hoping to be able to wear a swimsuit comfortably while in Vegas or at least wear swim shorts on top.  We shall see where I am at by the time I leave.  I will be done with this second round of Insanity by then too.  I think I made my goal for this round to lose at least 25 pounds but I am going to change it to 20 pounds.  That means I am looking to be down 38 pounds and that is almost half-way to my goal weight!  Going to Vegas is for sure going to motivate me even more to work harder and lose those pounds.  Let the countdown begin!  48 days until Summit!
