Insanity Workout: Cardio Recovery
It has been truly an amazing day! I weighed myself today and I lost two more pounds! I have lost a total of 23 pounds since February 6th! I think the small cleanse that I did yesterday did good. It’s only been a couple of days but I have done very well with eating healthy and I am feeling back to my old self. I have more energy today and I am feeling positive. I guess you can say I feel re-energized and re-focused.
Recovery days are always my favorite. I worked out to Cardio Recovery this afternoon. Those holds are still pretty killer but I held longer than I did in the past. I’m able to push myself more and more. It was another humid day which meant it was hot in my room so I worked up another great sweat. I swear I feel like I do my laundry a lot more these days because of how much I sweat lol.
After my workout I FINALLY got a haircut! I wanted to get a cut a few weeks ago when I first started this round on Insanity right after I took my 60-day pictures. My workouts should be a little better with the cut since I have very thick hair haha. I went to Fit Club tonight and did some of this week’s workout. It was Max Interval Plyo….ahhh! I did a bit here and there and even though I didn’t do much, I was dripping in sweat. Part of that did have to do with how hot it was in the gym. Working out to Insanity this summer is going to make me do even more laundry if the weather is like this.
Anyways, I’m back at work tomorrow after having three much needed days off this week. It will be an early one but unfortunately I won’t be going to bed so early. I’m going to go see the midnight showing of The Avengers and I’m super excited!
