Insanity Workout: Cardio Power and Resistance
I have lost another pound! I have lost 19 pounds total since February 6th! This loss marks a big milestone because this is the lowest weight I have been at in who knows how many years! I can’t remember when I was this low. I still don’t want to reveal what I’m at just yet but give it another 20 pounds and I probably will. All I’ll say is that I’m 5 pounds away from matching the weight on my Driver’s License. I know that doesn’t tell you anything lol.
I woke up early today so I can workout before work. I forgot to take my shoes out of the washer before I fell asleep last night and hang them to dry overnight. My workout shoes are Vibram FiveFinger KSO’s aka barefoot shoes…and the original might I add! They weren’t dry when I took them out of the washer which meant that I had to wait until I got home from work to workout.
I got home and they still were not dry enough. I didn’t want to wear a different pair of shoes but I was not going to let that stop me for working out. It would be a stupid excuse too so I decided to go totally barefoot since it’s closer to wearing FiveFingers. Of course it was a little harder on my feet and I’m glad I have carpet otherwise I would have definitely worn a pair of shoes. Half-way into the workout I felt like stopping because I have to get up early for work tomorrow and it was getting late. I skipped ahead in during a circuit and felt bad for doing so. I knew I was going to regret it so I went back to where I left off. What got me through my workout was thinking of why I got started in the first place and I kept saying my goal weight over and over again. I powered through the rest of my workout and I’m glad I didn’t stop or do a shortcut.
I have a ways to go in my journey and I just need to keep remembering why I’m doing this and how much it will change my life. On top of that I’m want to be able to help change others lives along the way as best as I can. 65 is the number of pounds I have left to lose and I will not stop until I get there!
