Insanity Workout: Off Day
Yay for off days! It felt great to finally take a day off from work and take a day off from working out too. My body definitely needed a rest day considering I have another busy week ahead of me. I used the day to walk around a shopping area with my friend and then I relaxed a bit too. As soon as I got home, I took my pictures and took my final measurements for my first round of Insanity.
I still cannot believe that I finished one round of Insanity. It’s such an amazing accomplishment to have completed something so crazy. I would have never thought I would ever try Insanity when I first saw the infomercials and then be able to get through it. This experience has truly changed my life for the better. My eating habits have changed big time as I went from eating at least 6000 calories a day to 2000 calories at the max. I have become a positive person and I have gained more confidence which in turn has made me a happier person.
So onto my results! At the end of this round I have lost a total of 18 pounds, 9.8 inches all over my body, and one pants size down! While I was out today, I tried on a pair of jeans that were one size down and they fit! However, I won’t be buying any new clothes until I absolutely have to. I won’t be posting any of my pictures until my transformation is complete. It will take a while so be patient because my before pictures will blow your mind haha. Let’s just say they’re good enough to be in the next infomercial.
I start my second round on Insanity tomorrow and I will be following the wall calendar that came with my set. In addition to taking the fifth and final Fit Test on Day 63 tomorrow, I will make it my first Fit Test for round two. I’m looking very forward to getting back to the Month 1 workouts lol. Since I know how all of the workouts go and I know how far my body can go, I will be pushing myself harder than I have the first time around. I want to incorporate a little bit more into my workouts by running or I might use the free 1-year gym membership I won from Planet Fitness. My goal is to lose at least 25 pounds at the end of round two. I upped my goal by 5 pounds to challenge myself even more. Here’s to the start of round two!
