Insanity Workout: Plyometric Cardio Circuit

Yes! I am posting for once before midnight!  I started out my day with a healthy and filling breakfast before work.  I made sure I brought a snack this time and had it during a very small break.  However, I had a super late lunch and had my Shakeology.  Actually, it was dinner time for some lol.  I made myself a Chocolate Shakeology Thin Mints Girl Scout Cookie shake.  I made this shake on St. Patty’s Day so if you missed my post with the recipe on it go to https://xtinec.com/2012/03/17/shakeologythinmints.

I wanted to make sure I got my workout in before dinner.  I didn’t want to have to do another workout late night.  Before I get into how my workout went, I went to Flat Top for dinner and it feels amazing making healthy choices while I’m out to eat.  I’ll be honest, it wasn’t the case a few times but most of the times I’ve gone out to eat it’s been healthy lol.  I love how they have the nutrition facts on all of their sauces in plain sight.  I was able to see how much sodium was in each ladle as that is what I think makes most stir frys bad.  It was a good dinner with everything I needed to replenish my body after a workout.

Back to my workout…I worked out to Plyometric Cardio Circuit which is the third workout I missed when I was sick.  My cousin, Elaine, came back to my house so she can come to dinner and she was actually working on her paper while I worked out in the same room.  I think I pushed myself harder since she was there.  I’m feeling sore again which I think is a great thing.  It means I can build even more muscle that will in turn burn calories faster.  I’m for sure going to push myself harder now.  I’m to the point where I should push my body to the limit especially going into round 2 of Insanity.  My first round officially ended on Saturday but because I was sick in February, I consider my first round ending tomorrow.

It’s about that time to relax as much as I can with what’s left to my night.  I have a double tomorrow and if it was anything like it was last Thursday, it is going to be extremely exhausting.  It will be another late workout I’m sure but that’s okay…it will get done no matter what : )
