Insanity Workout: Max Interval Circuit

I think my days are getting busier and busier and I know I’ll be super busy this summer.  I made sure I worked out before I went to lunch and work today.  Today was Max Interval Circuit.   I’m still sick but I pushed myself as hard as I could.  My cough started to act up throughout the workout so I had to take it easy a few times.  I still had a great workout and I loved how I was able to get my workout done early in the day.

When I think about how much weight I have lost, I forget that I have been building muscle at the same time.  The scale says I lost 17 pounds but it really could be more like 25 or 30.  Well I can’t really tell how much muscle I have gained.  It’s still pretty crazy to think about and I love it : )

One more workout for this week tomorrow and then a rest day!  Have a great weekend!

  1. I am on day 48 . . I didn’t start on a Monday so my schedule is a little off. max Interval Circuit is definitely my least favorite from Month 2. But like you said, when you think about how much weight you have lost, you have to suck it up and keep pushing through. I feel like the 20 lbs I lost could have been a little more as well….it is tough to measure the muscle gained. You measure inches too I hope!?? Good job, so far. What are you going to do after it is over? I am going to do a month of Hip Hop Abs with Shaun T and then repeat INSANITY again I think.

    1. Well I’m technically on Day 55 because I was sick for 4 days last month so I’m going to add 4 days once my group challenge is done. I’m going to do Round 2 of Insanity for sure. I’ve been debating on doing the P90X/Insanity hybrid because they have a schedule on doing both at the same time but I haven’t decided yet. I couldn’t decide which Month 2 workout I did not like the most and it was between Max Interval Circuit and Max Plyo. I would agree on you on Max Interval Circuit! I have lost most of my inches in my stomach, butt, calves but only a little bit in my hips, and arms. I’ll take it though!
