Insanity Workout: Max Interval Circuit

Happy Spring! It was a beautiful, sunny day in the Chicago Area. Personally, I can’t think of a better way to spend a day like today by being outside. I played tennis for the first time in probably a couple years with one of the girls I played with on the tennis team during my Freshman year in college. I was pretty rusty but I quickly found my swings. After warming up for a while, we played out a set. Let’s just say I didn’t do too well and she won lol. My swings were off and I miss-hit the ball a lot of times. Either way, it was great to be back on the court playing the sport I love. I was curious on how many calories I burned so I did a little research and it was close to 1000 calories. I had no idea that playing tennis burned so many calories. Like I mentioned in my post the other night, I used to play at least 4 hours a day and 5 days a week. However, I would eat very poorly and I really did not lose a lot of weight. I plan on playing on a regular basis and I’ll look into taking classes at the club I used to play at or play at my school with the night classes.
I did Max Interval Circuit earlier tonight. I wanted to give myself some time after I played tennis to workout. This was the third time I had done this workout and I pushed myself harder and I felt like I improved. I have been a little stressed out over a couple of things during the past few days. I have a lot of big goals I have set for myself and I’m going to keep working hard to accomplish each one and to get where I want to be in life. I need to re-focus a bit and maybe that will help take the stress off more. I think it helped contribute to me pushing harder and I feel a lot better when I finished.
I weighed myself this morning and I lost another pound. I have lost 15 pounds since 2/6/12. I’m getting closer and closer to the lowest weight I was ever at in the past 10 years. I’m sure some of you are wondering what I’m at right now but I won’t be sharing that information until I get to my goal weight. Maybe 16 pounds when I weigh tomorrow? I have a good feeling : )
