Insanity Workout: Core Cardio and Balance
As I predicted, today was a busy day. I had to drive downtown (Chicago), come back to the suburbs then drive back downtown again. I had to reschedule my meeting at school so came home and decided to get my workout in before I go to work. I wanted to get it done while the sun was out and I didn’t want to have to do a late workout. Another workout completed, another workout where I improved yet again. I surprised myself during the Shoulder Burners by being able to push harder through them and finish stronger. Even though this week is Cardio Core and Balance, it’s such a great feeling to finish an Insanity workout.
When I first started this blog about my weight loss journey, I made a goal of how much weight I want to lose. At the start of my Insanity Challenge it was to lose 89 pounds and I wanted to focus more on counting down from there as I lost weight. I decided the other night that I was not going to countdown anymore. Instead, I will be counting the pounds that I have lost so far. I feel like it’s a more positive way of thinking when it comes to losing weight. I have never really been skinny for most of my life so I’m not sure what exactly is a good weight for me. I know I have a lot of muscle so I guess the amount of weight I want to lose depends on how I’ll look when I get close to my goal. But, I still will aim for losing between the 75-89 pound goal.
Two more days left of Recovery Week!
