Insanity Workout: Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs
I have one word to describe today’s workout…”INSANE!” I know what you’re probably saying…”Duh, isn’t that why it’s called Insanity?” Well yeah, it still was the hardest one so far. Just when I thought Monday’s and Tuesday’s workouts were hard, Shaun T kicks it up a notch with Pure Cardio. There are no intervals; just nonstop cardio and each move lasted a minute compared to 30 seconds each and doing them in a circuit. It’s crazy how a lot of the people working out in the video had to take lots of breaks and they are very fit. I mentioned before how my room is generally cold especially with one of my windows being broken. It got so hot in my room that I had to plug in my fan and turn it up full blast. After Pure Cardio, came Cardio Abs. It was a little slower paced with no sit-ups or crunches and I can definitely feel that I worked out my core.
Once again, I felt like I wanted to quit during Cardio Abs and of course I didn’t quit. I love how Shaun T motivates you to keep on going and keep pushing through each move. I felt like he was right there with me lol. I took my breaks and had to modify a few more moves than usual today. Either way, it was very rewarding to finish today’s workout.
