Insanity Workout: Plyometric Cardio Circuit
Day 1 has finally arrived! I had done my Fit Test the night before and I think I did alright for my first one. Anyways, our first workout is Plyometric Cardio Circuit. It’s 42 minutes long with intervals of intense lower-body plyo and sweat-inducing cardio. Before I started it, I realized it’s the same workout I tried out before I decided to join the challenge. I went too hard at first and only lasted about 25 minutes. I’m not going to go into detail but let’s just say I didn’t feel too well after that. This time around I took it a little easier and I took breaks when I needed it. I didn’t pause the DVD it like last time but I finished it all the way through! My room is always cold and at the end of the workout, I was drenched in sweat.
It feels great to work out again and it feels greater eating healthy again. I had a Shakeology shake for breakfast and I’m surprised how much it made me feel full with only a scoop and 8 ounces of water with a little bit of ice. I won’t really be strict on counting calories this time around. I’ll use it as more of a guide but I’m going to be doing a max of 1900 calories a day. I’m going to focus more on getting the best and most nutrients each day. I purchased a book call “Eat To Live” by Dr. Joel Fuhrman that I know will definitely teach me more about eating healthier. Eventually I’m going stop counting calories when I get used to eating right and getting the portion control down.
I’m ready to “dig deeper” tomorrow!
