Day 16

Today was a pretty long day for me.  I ended up working a double for Rosetta Stone.  I was only supposed to work at one location but I took on the closing shift at another one.  The manager at the other location had to work an open to close and his daughter is very sick.  I thought I would help out and cover his closing shift.  I wasn’t prepared for a full day and only brought enough food for one shift.  I was able to manage just fine minus me being so hungry at times because I was so bored all day.  What a better way to cure boredom than to eat right?  I didn’t give in though!  How’s that for discipline?

I did a lot of research the night before on different fat burners.  Now before anyone comments and tells me how bad it could be, I know fat burners generally aren’t recommended.   I have tried A LOT of them before and none of them didn’t really work for me.  Then again, I wasn’t working out and dieting like I am now.  Besides, I was given a fat burner with the workout program I trying out.  After reading reviews on so many fat burners, I decided to go with OxyElite Pro by USPlabs ( and I found some time to pick it up from GNC.  It’s one of the Vitamin Shoppe’s and GNC’s best sellers.  It’s still pretty new but there are already a lot of positive reviews on it.  However, some of the reviews said they experience being  jittery or had insomnia as a side effect.  It seems like it depends on each person because not everyone experienced side effects.  I’m going to try it out first thing tomorrow morning and I’ll let you all know how it goes.

After work, I went straight home to change and go right into my workout program.  I did 2 circuits and it’s getting a lot easier for me to do.  I don’t have to take that many breaks and I’m getting stronger.  I’m going to start doing 3 circuits next week.  As soon as I finished my workout program, I worked out at Planet Fitness.  I spent 40 minutes on the elliptical and worked at great pace the whole time.  I felt pretty good about myself after today and I think I did very well.
