I had a very GREAT night last night! I went out and saw a lot of familiar faces so it was kind of a reunion. I felt like I had a big smile throughout whole night and I just felt great! I felt as if I was giving out a great vibe and I got a few comments about my weight loss so far. On top of that, some of my clothes are starting to feel a little looser on me.
At work, I ran into inspirational speaker, coach, and natural health author of the self-help book titled Mind Your Own Wellness; Alex Ong. I gave him an update on how I have been doing and how much better I am feeling. He told me that he can tell that I have more energy now and I am more positive. He also said that he would love to get a testimonial from me after I finish reading his book but of course to take my time. I am for sure going to finish his book because there are so many helpful tips and I know it will help me out even more along my journey. Speaking with Alex definitely gave me more motivation to keep pushing.
They have a loop of videos playing on all of the TV’s on display at work. One of the videos is a commercial for theAustralian Open which starts tomorrow. I would LOVE to be able to go to the Australian Open someday as well as the other tournaments. I absolutely love tennis and it made me realize how much I miss playing since I rarely play these days. It definitely toned my arms and legs and my stamina was pretty good. I’m hoping to play for the College of DuPage in the fall since I have one more year of eligibility left. Tennis would be a great exercise addition and I would be doing something I love to do. I am for sure going to sign up for classes at my local tennis club and get back into playing on a regular basis.
I weighed myself again this morning because it’s included on the Body Test on the Wii Fit Plus. I lost another pound which makes it 14 pounds lost since the January 3rd. I worked out at home tonight and did the workout program along with some dumbbells and Wii Fit Plus. I started to feel a little dizzy about half-way through everything so I ended my workout a few minutes into Wii Fit Plus. I think I need to a little eat more and get closer to my goal for the day so I don’t get like this again.
